AV Shield Round 2

Round 2 of Shield is this Saturday.  Blue/White Zones will be competing at Nunawading google map running program 2 events.  The Red/Yellow venue will be at Doncaster google map running program 1 events.

Entry for AV Shield Round 2 closes 12:00pm midday Wednesday 10th October.

Don’t forget training at Casey Fields, the main training sessions are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:00pm.

Uniform Sizing samples of our new uniform are available to try on and order during training but not for much longer.  We have limited stock of the old uniform for purchase which the club will swap for the new competition gear when its available.

A Great day at Casey Fields

A fantastic day of athletics at Casey Fields for the opening round of the 2018-19 AV Shield. Congratulations to all our athletes that competed at Casey Fields and Aberfeldie on Saturday. There are too many outstanding performances to mention here but please check out the scoreMobile site to see your results.

Based on preliminary results, Open Div2, U18, U16 men and U16 women finished on top for blue zone. Open Div 2 women finished 3rd and U18 women finished 4th for the round

Casey Cardinia Athletics would like to thank all the Victorian Officials for their invaluable assistance, without them there would be no competition at all.  Thank you to all the club members and their families that chipped in to do duty on the day, the Club very much appreciated your help.

Next Saturday, 13th October, see us head off to Nunawading for the Blue/White zone and Doncaster for the Red/Yellow zone, a perfect opportunity to mix and match your events give to close proximity of the venues.  Though Caitlyn McCormick did demonstrate it’s possible to compete at Casey Fields and Aberfeldie in one day.
